The Route to Dumaguete City

After a few hours of exploration in Oslob town heritage, our next itinerary destination is to experience Dumaguete City — dubbed “The Land of Gentle People” at the foot of Mount Talinis, also known as the Cuernos de Negros (Horns of Negros) a potentially active volcano. The city is also famous as the hometown of Silliman University, the oldest educational institution founded in 1901 in the Philippines.

Day 2 Travel Itinerary: Oslob to Dumaguete City

11:32 AM (Liloan Port to Sibulan Port)

From Oslob Public Market (at 7-Eleven) we take the Ceres Bus going to Santander Liloan Port (duration of travel is almost 30 minutes). In Liloan Port we take the ferry CUADRO ALAS NAVIGATION, the available scheduled fastcraft going to Sibulan Port Terminal (duration of the travel is nearly 20 minutes).

12:00 PM (Sibulan Port to Bethel Guest House)

Sibulan Port proximity to Bethel Guest House (in Dumaguete City) is more or less 7.1 km via National Highway / National Road / Negros South Road as the fastest route due to traffic conditions (duration of travel by driving a tricycle is nearly 20 minutes).
